Did You Know?

Did You Know... That one of Life Application Fellowship’s 5 main goals is to Equip Believers with the tools & knowledge they need to understand & defend their Faith?

Did You Know... Although our approach to engaging people is anything but traditional, we believe in and maintain a conservative theological position?

Did You Know... Our goal is to reach out to people who don’t yet believe in God but are seeking answers to the difficult questions about God, life & hardships? In fact it is our goal to create an atmosphere where people can feel free to ask the difficult questions about life and what our purpose is here. We realize that a decision to believe in, or follow, God may take time. So we work hard to develop an atmosphere where people don’t feel condemnation or looked down on. A place where those who don’t yet believe can feel loved and accepted as they seek the truth about life and God.

Did You Know... That God is not just an ideology but is in fact very real? He created man in His own image and is intimately involved with our lives as the creator and ruler of the universe?
Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 121:3; Matthew 10:29-31; John 10:10; Hebrews 13:6,8; Colossians 1:16-17

Did You Know... That God is attentive and active in our lives? He cares so deeply for us that He even cares about the details? He’s not some distant, detached force field, He is personable, and loving, and desires a relationship with us!
Luke 12:6-7; John 1:12; John 3:16-17; John 14:27; 2 Corinthians 1:3-4; 1 Peter 5:7

Did You Know... God wrote a book just for us? The Bible is that book. It is God’s Word to all people, for all generations, so we could know Him better and understand how to live with peace and joy in spite of our circumstances.
Psalms 119:10-11, 105; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17;

Did You Know... The Bible was written by human authors, but under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit? And because it was inspired by God Himself, the Bible is our only source of truth. And even though people sometimes don’t understand parts of it, the Bible was written without any error.
Deuteronomy 4:2; Psalm 12:6; Psalms 119:89; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 1:1-4; 2 Peter 1:20-21

Did You Know... That even after thousands of years the Bible is still completely relevant to our daily lives? No other book has transformed the world like the Bible!
1 Peter 1:24-25; Hebrews 4:12; 1 John 5:4-5; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Did You Know... That Jesus, who walked on this earth as a man, who was called the Son of God, was actually co-equal with the Father who stayed in Heaven? Jesus lived as a man here on earth, except He lived a sinless life. So when He died on the cross He was offering himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. After showing Himself alive to hundreds of people, He ascended back to heaven. But He promised He would return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Matthew 1:22-23; John 14:10-11; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 1:10-11; Titus 2:13-14

Did You Know...That’s why Jesus is the only way you can get into Heaven? Human logic would dictate that a fair god would let you into Heaven if your good deeds outweighed your bad deeds (or sins). Although we will be judged for our actions, getting into Heaven isn’t about being good. It’s about being forgiven of all your sins. And we can be! That’s God’s grace to all who ask for forgiveness.
John 14:6; Romans 3:20; Romans 6:23; Titus 2:13-14; 1 John 2:1-2; 1 John 5:11-12

Did You Know... God’s abode is pure, so He can’t allow sin to enter. Not even if you have lots more good deeds than you do bad. So Jesus died as a sacrifice, and if we believe that He really was the Son of God, and we ask Him for forgiveness, He promises to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That’s the only way anyone can get into a Holy Heaven to spend eternity with a Holy God?
John 3:16-18; Acts 3:19; Romans 3:22-25; Romans 8:1; Ephesians 2:8; 1 John 1:9
